HPP

The Harmonic Profile Project is a data visualization tool for musical analysis that plots the harmonic functioning of harmonic progressions in 3D.

The first prototype was written in Python (using the Plotly Graphing Libraries) in 2020. HPP is an open-ended tool for historical, analytical, and stylistic inquiry into tonal, triadic music.
